Russ Black ('84) checked in recently. Russ is a media assistant at the Santa Monica College Media Center and has recently developed a database system that tracks the various audio/visual equipment used at SMC. He has also written the software for the College's a/v media reservations system.

A long time Sierra Club member, Russ publishes the newletter for the 20's and 30's Singles section. As a hike leader, he has been involved in a variety of Sierra Club activities. Email to . . . Russ at SMC

Marty Blumenthal ('75), is in advertising and with wife Debbie operates his own advertising specialty business in the Simi Valley. They spend their free time with sons Mark (11) and Steven (7). Delighted to hear from Joann Roske '94 (the Earthquake Class) and Donna Hemmert '90 who recently beamed in from cyberspace. Joann has just completed her MBA at Cal Lutheran. This is Joann on "photo opportunity"day in M340, Fall, 1993. Congratulations, Joann!!!

Here's Donna at eight a.m. trying to stay awake in M340 during the Fall, 1989 semester. Donna was with Davis, Ball & Colombatto Advertising here in LA before moving to the client side as Director of Business Development for Intercon Systems Corporation, a Washington, DC software producer. Her position has taken her to Paris, London, Tokyo, Hawaii and points east and west. Donna has been going places!<

Anyone else with the courage to see themselves as the "photo opportunity" camera saw them, let me know. Prints for most sections of M340 (Marketing Communications) and M449 (Marketing Management Seminar) are available from fall, 1989 to the present. Assorted slide files that somehow survived the earthquake extend back to the time of the pharaohs.
