Deadline = May 5, 7:30am, yes 7:30am

You may take the quiz as often as you like, but only the one submitted nearest to the deadline will be graded.  No quizzes will be graded before the deadline.

I encourage you to share and discuss the quiz with others, but in the end, submit YOUR answers only, not someone else's.

Please note that there may be various versions of the quiz.

This quiz should serve as a warm-up for the last exam on May 7.

Good luck and Godspeed.!
4/16 Reminder about Homework Project 2 (Cluster Analysis)-- it's as much about properly referencing your secondary data as it is about interpreting a dendrogram. If the data are not referenced properly, the dendrogram itself is invalid.

A main purpose of this quiz is to help you get into the mind-set for the exam on Thursday, e.g., attitude measurement, levels of measurement, questionnaire formats, primary vs secondary data, criteria for choosing questioning methods, and so forth.

The correct answers to the quiz will be posted here in about an hour after the quiz deadline.

Effective Immediately!  Apparently, some students have been posing as other students on emails to professors.  So, unfortunately, only emails to and from CSUN email accounts will pass through to me.  If you try to send me an email from your nonCSUN email account, e.g., Gmail, it probably will get filtered out and rejected--I will never see it.  Likewise, if I send you email, it will ONLY be to your CSUN email account.  Your CSUN email accounts are on my official roster.  Sorry for the inconvenience...

Push the Red ButtonStudy Aids...Powerpoint slides and the like
Caveat:  Some, but not all, of the powerpoint slides shown in class may be posted here for you to download.   I am concerned that too many of you have become "Powerpoint Dependent."  The Powerpoints are MY teaching notes, not yours.  Typically, they are insufficient sources of information in and of themselves.  They are merely my own outlines for teaching, not content-laden sources of information for you.  Thus, you should always use them as supplements, not as substitutes for paying attention in class, reading the text, etc..  That said, they are there for your pickings.  Enjoy. ;-)
