EOH 353: Global Perspective of Environmental Health

Environmental Terrorism. Global Warming. Hazardous Wastes. And the list goes on... A wide array of characters have weighed in on environmental issues: people from Erin Brockovich to Rush Limbaugh have made some pretty disturbing allegations. Some of it true, some of it not... A lot of people are scared. Others are skeptical.

So here's a novel idea: instead of being guided by public figures with an agenda of fear, votes, or higher ratings, why not look at the issues with a professor of environmental health? Sort the fallacies from the serious risks. This course satisfies the upper division general education requirement. The field of environmental health has a tremendous need for new professionals. And hey, we're talkin' about the freakin' planet....
