The anhedral crystal of beryl (Ber) outside the idiomorphic K-feldspar (K) is primary, while the irregular form of beryl (Ber single prime) inside the K-feldspar is of metasomatic. Ber single prime has the same orientation as the Ber. Crossed polars plus quartz plate. Shanbei leucogranite, Taishan County, Guangdong Province.
