Many of our mineral resources come from igneous processes. I’ll mention two:

1. Crystal settling - early formed, dense crystals sink in magma: Cr, Ni, Pt, & Ti

2. Hydrothermal deposits - these ores are found in and around intrusions and form from remnant, hot, water-rich fluids from magmas: Cu, Au, Pb, Mg, Ag, Sn, & Zn.
