Dear Distinguished NSF and Eisenhower Research Fellows,
Dan McDonnell wha has worked with me for many years will be
presenting an exciting SEA URCHIN workshop:

4 - 6 P.M., February 6 and 7 (2 days, total 4 hours)
at his school Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Study.
You are invited to reserve a spot by contacting Dan at:

dmcdonne@lausd.k12.ca.us

Dan is clearly one of the nation's top experts in using sea urchins
in the classroom for research projects and to study fertilization and
early development. His workshops in this field are second to none.
The sea urchin is one of the best organisms for classroom researchprojects.

More important is that LAUSD will order sea urchin kits for any
LAUSD teachers who wish to use them, free of charge. AT THE
WORKSHOP DAN WILL TELL YOU HOW TO ORDER THEM.
Dan's workshops are enrichment activities for both the National
Science Foundation and Eisenhower research programs. I urge you to
contact Dan to reserve a spot and obtain directions and further
information.

Reminder: Abstracts for publication are due February 1, 2002.
It's an honor to work with you folks. You are national leaders in
implementing research in the K-12 classroom.

Sincerely,
Steve Oppenheimer
