FALL, 2002 VERSION INTRODUCTION TO MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING To make the course more user friendly, I have added all the Chapter Texts, Notes, Assignments, Problems and Texts ONLINE. You do not have to download all of the course materials. Downloading the course materials onto your computer is optional. You do not have to mail or E-mail anything to me. All the course materials can be done ONLINE and the results will automatically E-mailed to me. TO DO THE COURSE ONLINE PROCEED AS FOLLOWS: NOTE: You can try out the course using Chapter 1 only, then register to continue the rest of the course. 1. Register for the course and receive the NEW Web Page Instructions from the instructor. 2. Click on the Chapter Text, Notes, Assignment, Problem or Test number on left side of screen. a. To Read Text . If you have a 15" Monitor, then you can increase the display size as follows: 1. Click on the vertical black line that separates the two pages that are side by side. 2. Drag the line to the left to increase the text size. 3. To return to the original screen, click on Back. b. To Print. 1. Double Click on the Text page. 2. Click on FILE (upper left corner) 3. Select Print... c. To Copy to your computer to read or print. 1. Double Click on the Text page. 2. Click on FILE. 3. Select SAVE AS 4. Save in My Documents 5. File name: ch1text.txt 6. Click on Save. 7. You can then display or print the text material in WORD, WORD PERFECT, WORD PAD, EDIT ETC. 3. After reading the text and notes, click on the Assignment, Problems and Test for the respective chapter and enter the answers. 4. Enter Your Name, E-mail Address, Password which is guest, Date, Course Title, Course ID, Student ID and Instructor's name. 5. File in the answers as indicated. 6. Click on the (Submit Assignment for Grading) ICON at the end. The assignment will be graded immediately and presented to you and your instructor. REMEMBER THAT THE ASSIGNMENTS, PROBLEMS AND TESTS ARE FOR TUTORING PURPOSES. SO THE POINT IS, IF YOU MISS A QUESTION TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE CORRECT ANSWER AS GIVEN, RATHER THAN BEING UPSET BECAUSE YOU MAY HAVE MISSED THE QUESTION!!!!!!!!
