The US Department of Energy maintains an excellent (resource-wise) web site titled Smart Communities Network.

 The
International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) maintains a Compendium page of global indicator initiatives.

The
International Sustainability Indicators Network (ISIN) has a resource page with useful links as well.

The Sustainability Report, affiliated with the
York Center for Applied Sustainability at the York University, Ontario, is a very valuable resource as well.

The organization,
Redefining Progress, maintains a web site with some very useful material (particularly as it pertains to their ecological footprint-related work, but lots of other good stuff as well).   [See particularly their publications page.]

The
National Center for Environmental Decision-Making Research has a site with some sustainability-relevant information.

The
World Bank maintains a site pertaining to Environmental Economic Indicators.

A global perspective on sustainability indicators is provided at the
Dashboard On Sustainability.

 The
Harvard Forum for Science & Technology for Sustainability maintains a useful web site as well.

Donella Meadows' papers on sustainability indicators can be accessed here.

INFORM is an "independent research organization that examines the effects of business practices on the environment and on human health."
