1.Do you think that creativity is part of human nature
or is it something that must be nurtured and learned?
I believe that creativity is one of the most important aspects of human nature as it directly play a part in survival.  For example, the creation of weapons for hunting and protection, medicine, and most technological advancements that better our living conditions are born from man's ability to create something from nothing. Creativity is an instinct.

2. What made you decide to follow a creative career
choice (though possibly risky) rather than something
more stable?
The personal gratification of creating something from scraps of ideas is far beyond the reward a person recieves from a steady check a week in a monotonous routine.  As a freelance artist I enjoy the unpredictability of my creative energy which changes on a day to day basis and in the end even surprises me in its outcome.

3. What is your inspiration? How has personal
experience influenced your creativity?

My inspiration is all around me. The most seemingly insignificant idea or thing can lead to a powerful source of inspiration.

4.What is your favorite creation? Please explain why
you selected this one.
In my opinion, things we create don't exist as seperate entities, rather, all creations of an artist are mounds and bits that sculpt the ultimate opus of a person's life and experiences.

5. What do you wish to accomplish with your art?

6. How do you know when a piece or project is finished
and needs no additional work?

No project is ever finished.  Additional work is always needed because perfection can never be attained. The creative process is open, with no beggening and no end.

7. Have you ever been faced with negative feedback?
Yes
How was this reflected in your work, if at all?
If anything has reflected in my work after negative criticism  it probably happened without my knowing, without deliberation.  I couldn't imagine taking negative feedback into my art, unless it was constructive and convincing.

8. What impact do you think that commercialism and the
media has had on your work? Is this good or bad?

9. Are you a fan of cartoons? If so, what is your
favorite one?

Family Guy

10. What is playing in your CD player/Ipod right now?

Leonard Cohen

11. If you had to be any of these things, which would
you like to be? A
a) a member of the opposite sex, b) a clock, c) a pair
of shoes, d) a duck
Please explain your choice.

12. If you only had 24 hours to live, how would you
spend your day?

I'd probably want to play a final concert/show and spend the rest of the time with my friends and family - with nothing ceremonial or service-like, just as we are.
