![]() This is a picture of me in my most "natural state"...with a fro. Well if you have reached this page by now hopefully it is because you wanted to see more and you enjoyed the rest of the site. The purpose of this page is to let you all know a little bit about myself. However, i will not reveal too much information because (1)im not too big on self disclosing my self to the entire world, (2) I'm a very private person, (3) you probably wouldn't be interested anyway and (4) this page wasn't meant to be about me, its meant to be about creativity and what I think is creative. Well for starters I will let all of you know that i am an ARMY brat (hence the ARMY shirt that I am wearing in the picture). I was born on an ARMY base in Georgia and for the majority of my life I moved around a lot. Currently I am a student at California State University Northridge and I will graduate with a Bachelor's in Psychology in the Spring. I have already revealed a lot of information about what I like and what I like to do in the other pages so there really isn't much else to say here. Another interesting fact about me is that i am a very creative person. I like to dance, sing, write songs and poems and sometimes i draw. At this point some of you may be thinking:" well why didn't you show any of that on your web page? (especially you Dr. Hardy). " To answer that question, like I mentioned before I am a very private person and quite honestly i do those creative things for ME and a selected FEW that i decide to share my creations with. I know that a lot of people think that creativity is worthless if you don't share it with anyone but I beg to differ. I think that creativity is what you want it to be and for me it serves as an outlet. When I am going through hard times, when I am happy, when I am in love I like to express those emotions in a way that can capture them. If you create something that portrays your emotions at that time you can go back and relive that moment through your work. I think that writing is a means of introspection for me. It is a way for me to feel how i felt on any given day and then figure out why i felt that way. So to my instructor Dr. Hardy...I understand that the world wide web is a excellent way to show your creativity to the world. However, I feel that my creativity is apart of who I am and if i share that part of myself with the world it may be taken from me. And what i mean by that is: the information age has become positive and negative in some regards. Everyday on the net someone is exploited, taken advantage of or raped of their identity. For example the poems that i featured on this site were copied from the net. And to me I feel like I now have a little piece of the artist on my very own web site. That is all and good if that is what you want...but that isn't what i want. I like to have secrets and now things about myself that others may never know. It isn't that i have anything to hide its just that i would like to maintain the ownership to my CREATIVITY!
