Thanks to everyone who got their chapter 3 multiple choice questions 
in on time.  You make my job a piece of cake!  Please continue to let me 
know whenever questions come up in the reading.

4th Assignment

1. Go to the Prentice Hall website: http://www.prenhall.com/heward

2. At the bottom of this page, you will see a scroll box entitled 
   "Select a Chapter."  Choose Chapter 4, Parents and Families of 
   Children with Special Needs, or Chapter 5, Early Childhood Special 
   Education, and click on "Begin."  You will be responsible for the
   content in both of these chapters on the midterm, but only submit
   one set of multiple choice questions!

3. You should now see the objectives for the chapter you have 
   selected.  Down the left hand side of the screen you should see a 
   list including the words:  Objectives, Guided Review, Multiple Choice, 
   IEP Planning, Resources, Message Board, and others.

4. For Chapter 4 or 5 (your choice), the Multiple Choice questions 
   are due by midnight on 3/5/01 (that's Monday night).  

Hint:  You can print out questions, complete them at your 
leisure and then return to the site to enter your answers.

For fun, you can play with the Message Board section of 
the Prentice Hall webpage, as well.  We will be using a 
similar interface in a few weeks to dialogue within our
class.
