Chapter 2:  Planning and Providing Special Education Services

2nd Assignment

1. Go to the Prentice Hall website: http://www.prenhall.com/heward

2. At the bottom of this page, you will see a scroll box entitled 
   "Select a Chapter."  Choose Chapter 2, Planning and Providing 
   Special Education Services, and click on "Begin."

3. You should now see the objectives for Chapter 2.  Down the left 
   hand side of the screen you should see a list including the words: 
   Objectives, Guided Review, Multiple Choice, IEP Planning, Resources, 
   Message Board, and others.

4. For Chapter 2, the Guided Review questions are due by midnight 
   on 2/19/01.  Complete all 6 sections of the Guided Review.  Yes, that 
   means you will submit 6 different documents.  I will acknowledge their 
   receipt after I've gotten all 6.  The titles of the sections are:
   I. The Process of Special Education
   II. The Importance of Collaboration and Teaming
   III. Individualized Education Program
   IV. Least Restrictive Environment
   V. Inclusive Education
   VI. Where Does Special Education Go From Here?

Hint:  You can print out questions, complete them at your 
leisure and then return to the site to enter your answers.
