Welcome to my homepage. I'm an assistant professor of English at California State University, Northridge. I teach courses in rhetoric, writing, and popular culture. My research focuses on rhetoric and class relations in the context of globalization. Current projects include an essay on academic freedom for Works and Days, guest editing a special issue on mental labor for Workplace, and a book on social change in post-Mao China.
