Interests:
rhetoric, cultural studies, philosophy, digital writing, and film.

Projects:
Bakhtin and Wittgenstein: Language, Culture, Contract. I'm researching a monograph that considers language acquisition, culture, and meaning through the work of Bakhtin, Wittgenstein, Wilfrid Sellars, Robert Brandom, and others engaged in philosophy of language, rhetoric, and discourse studies. My focus is on the similarities and differences between Bakhtin’s and Wittgenstein’s main ideas and how a close comparison might yield a better understanding of the relation between language, culture, politics, and economic life.
