Chapter 3- Light and Living Things

CA State Standards: 7.6 Focus on Life Science, 7.7 Investigation and Experimentation

OBJECTIVES: Students will explain the electromagnetic spectrum, and describe differences between visible light, white light, ultraviolet light and infrared waves. Students will demonstrate how light interacts with matter by reflection, absorption, refraction, scattering, or transmiting.

3-3 Refraction

Using graph paper demonstrate how convex and concave lenses form images. Make sure to explain your drawings.
