Special Interest Areas: Donald covers a wide range from Victorian studies to popular culture. As the co-director of the Institute for LesBiGayTrs studies at California State University, Northridge, Donald helped to provide a focus for a number of students at the university through this student organization.

Background: Donald has managed to cover the continent, completing his B.A. at the University of Alabama in 1981, his Masters at the University of Illinois in 1984 and his doctorate from the University of Maryland in 1991. He statrted in the South, tried the Midwest, completed his education in the East and settled in the West at California State University, Northridge.
