Vern and Bonnie Bullough Collection on Human Sexuality

The Human Sexuality Collection is a unique record of sexual attitudes and studies of human sexuality throughout history. It is comprised of books, periodicals, manuscript and archival documents covering prostitution, cross dressing, homosexuality, abortion, laws relating to sexual behavior, and sex education. The collection was formed in 1973 with the acquisition of the research library of scholars Vern and Bonnie Bullough. Their donations in the ensuing years have more than doubled the size of the collection. The materials are cataloged and accessible on the University Library's online catalog.
