Special Interest Areas

Wayne has focused on men's issues, cross-cultural studies and homophobia in his research, presentations and publications. He is continuing his research in the cross-cultural area of men's issues.


Background

Wayne comes from Texas by way of Rice University in Austin and then started his cross-cultural interest by going to the University of Stockholm, Sweden. He came back to UCLA for his doctoral work and then served on the faculty of the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom before he settled at California State University, Northridge.
