Our Speaker:
Julie Fabrocini is the Executive Director of Charter School Programs for the CHIME Institute. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Fabrocini was the founding principal of the CHIME Charter Elementary School, which was awarded Charter School of the Year for California in 2004. With over 20  years of experience in education, including teaching in elementary and secondary schools within general and special education programs, Ms. Fabrocini holds teaching and administrative credentials, as well as a Master's degree in Special Education from California State University, Northridge.  She has been a part time faculty member for the Department of Special Education at CSUN and is currently in the CSUN Ed.D. program for Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for CAL-TASH and serves as an Advisory Board member for the Los Angeles Times Literacy Center. Ms. Fabrocini has had the opportunity to share educational philosophy and practices on a local, state and national level as an invited speaker and presenter in a variety of forums.
