Handling the Application

Your company's regular procedures should be consistent with the ADA

Note: The ADA prohibits any pre-employment inquiries about disability

Have applications on hand in alternative formats such as large print or on computer disk

If the applicant's disability prevents them from filling out an application:

* offer assistance in filling out the application; or

* allow them to take it home, stating a specific time to return
