This handbook is a compilation of information from different sources designed to provide you with basic information on setting career goals and looking for work, including special considerations for job seekers with disabilities. By no means is this book intended to offer every answer to meet all your career and disability related needs. However, this is a book of resource information that can provide you with general career guidance, as well as avenues to get further assistance. In choosing and developing the materials contained here my staff and I tried to anticipate and address what we perceive to be some of our students' more common questions and concerns.
We welcome any comments and suggestions for changes or additions to this handbook. We recognize that many unique situations and problems may develop in setting and attaining career goals. The Students with Disability Internship Project staff is always available to provide you advice, assistance, and/or referrals to resources.
