Submitting Papers to "Turn It In"

- "Turn it in" or turnitin.com is an anti-plagiarism site

- When you submit a paper here, it compares it to millions of library databases, internet sites and other student papers to check for originality and gives it an originality score.

- This helps ensure that the work being turned is your own. So please make sure you are doing original work. If you are quoting from someone, please make sure you attribute the source. If caught plagiarising work, you will receive an automatic "F" in the course.

- In order to submit your papers (response papers and final paper), please follow the instructions below.

- begin by going to the Turnitin.com website: www.turnitin.com

- here you need to create a User Profile and access the class
- look for the "create a user profile link" at the top right of the page
- click on that
- follow the instructions and create a profile for yourself

- here is the information you will need to create a user profile
- type: student
- Turnitin class ID: 1336058
- Turnitin enrollment password: tuesdays

- once you create a user profile, it will bring up the class.
- click on that, and it will show you the assignments and due dates
- you can do your assignments in Word and then upload them here when you are ready.
