Digital Humanities Tutorials

Welcome!

This web page is the main portal for a suite of tutorials introducing the Digital Humanities. Although the tutorials will work as introductions to numerous computer technologies, they will be designed to provide a smooth pathway into the use of these technologies for research in the humanities.

So far, there are only two tutorials (both drafts at various stages of completion). To date, these tutorials have been used in Scott Kleinman's course on The Technology of Textuality (ENGL 630TT) at California State University, Northridge and Mark LeBlanc's course on Computing for Poets (COMP 131) at Wheaton College.

More tutorials will be added in the future. Until then, further resources are available at http://www.csun.edu/~sk36711/WWW/digital_humanities/index.html.
