Gabriel Delgado / President
Gabriel attends CSUN aiming to graduate as a Civil Engineering Major and aspires to work as a structural engineer analyzing, designing and working towards high rise buildings and infrastucture within our city. He enjoy sports such as paintball, snowboarding, volleyball, football and presently plays baseball and softball for adult leagues in the Valley and West Los Angeles. Gabriel shares a passion for leadership and development of both himself and others. His primary goal for this year is to gain recognition not only nationally but scholastically, as a chapter that is growing, strong, unified, and one that has many benefits for its SHPE members. Gabriel seeks to stress the importance of involvement and leadership to strengthen and develop SHPE CSUN's members socially, intelectually and professionally.

Josue Garcia / Vice President
Josue Garcia grew up in Fillmore, California. He was introduced to sports at a young age which therefore lead him the opportunity to attend California State University, Northridge on a track scholarship, he is currently majoring in Manufacturing Systems Engineering where he aspires to be part of an aerospace company. On his free time he enjoys staying active by going to the gym and playing sports. As vice president he would like to emphasize on SHPEs slogan "The Source for Quality Hispanic Engineers and Technical Talent" and all the aspects pertaining to it. In saying that, he would like CSUN SHPE to grow as chapter academically, socially and professionally. Given the pportunity to take a role in leadership, he would not only like people to follow but also to become leaders themselves.

Noe Vargas / Director of Finances
My name is Noe, I’m twenty-three years old. I was born and raised in Jalisco Mexico, at age 15 immigrated to the United States and since then I have been working hard towards a higher education. I have been involved with SHPE for Three years; SHPE is the source that keeps encouraging me to achieve my academic goals and keeps up my interest in engineering fields. I am a computer engineer major, I love working with computer hardware, programming, web design etc. I don't have a favorite sport but once in a while I play a little of everything.

Luis Rodriguez / Director of Corporate Relations
My name is Luis Fernando Rodriguez. I am twenty years old and i am the youngest of five. I came to the United States back when i was nine months and the eagerness to succeed is deep inside me. I now live in a small town called Piru, which is in Ventura County, and attend Cal State Northridge majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently the Director of Corporate Relations for the SHPE CSUN chapter. I am a huge soccer fan (go Liverpool!) ever since i learned how to walk. I love airplanes and cars and hope to work for a big company in the future.

My name is Adelita Roa and I am this school year’s Director of Communications for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). I am an engineering major at CSUN. My main goal is to finish my Bachelor’s Degree by 2012 and be employed by a top engineering company, such as Raytheon, by the time I graduate. I love to read in my free time. I also like to go to the movies and have a good time with family and friends. I look forward to working along with all SHPE members and prospective members.

My name is Steven Ryan Riffe. I attend California State University, Northridge majoring in Electric and Computer Engineering. I'm this year's Director of Public Relations for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). I love being spontaneous, playing video games, playing basketball, cleaning my room and attencding and/or watching sports events. My first goal is to graduate college. once thats accomplished the next goal is to have a great career, and my last and final goal is to be happy when all is said and done, meaning being happy while im reaching my goals and after im reaching my goals.

My name is Gloria M. Ventura and I held the position for 2008 - 2009 Executive Board as Community Outreach and 2007- 2008 Executive Board as Director of Communications. Being on the Board has given me the opportunity to become a leader and a professional. SHPE has made me become a better person. I've built great relationships that will last a lifetime. Thanks to SHPE, I have found balance, strength and passion to succeed in my carrer. I'm well prepared for any challenges that life has to offer. Since I'm a returning student, it's not an easy task. It's been a difficult and bumpy road for me to focus being part-time at school and working 30 hours. I look forward for 2009 - 2010 Executive Board.

Ivan Poma / Webmaster Chair
Ivan emigrated from Peru with a goal in mind: to obtain a higher education. Just like any dreams, it takes a lot of work and dedication, but also it has been an enriched and fun journey nonetheless. After graduating from Lancaster High School, he enrolled at Antelope Valley College, as a Graphic Design major. While completing his transfering requirements, Ivan became interested in the sciences and technology, taking a wild turn and switching his major to Computer Science. Now at California State University, Northridge, Ivan is about to start his fifth semester this Fall 2009, hoping to graduate in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Following graduation, Ivan seeks to work as software engineer, designing software that simplifies people's lives. This is his first semester as a member of SHPE and ready to work hard not only as this school year's webmaster, but also helping in anyway possible every fellow SHPE members.
