The "Problem of the Week" program has been running since the Spring semester 2004. It was created by Bernardo Ábrego and Silvia Fernández to promote the interest on problem-solving among the CSUN community. This program is sponsored by the Department of Mathematics. Most problems are created by professors Ábrego and Fernández, although some of them are proposed by other faculty members or are well-known puzzles. A new problem appears every Monday on this web site.
