The Executive Board Members are responsible for all aspects of the SDFSA. New Board Members are elected at the end of each Spring semester for a year-long term.
Nominations and voting for the 2012-2013 Executive Board is now closed.

SDFSA EXECUTIVE BOARD OFFICES

President
Preside at all meetings and shall be the official delegate to all affiliate functions. The President shall appoint all committees and act as an executive officer member of each committee. The President shall also keep the advisor(s) informed of all of the organization's business. Must attend Annual Recognition Conference each Fall semester.

Vice President
Preside at all meetings in the absence of the President and coordinate the programs for the organization's meetings. The Vice Presidents shall be responsible for: all of the organization's elections and the tabulation of election results, and planning the Dietetic Internship Symposium, Career Symposium, and Nutrition Lecture Series.

Treasurer
Shall deposit all monies and keep records of monies received and allocated, to and from the organization. Shall submit an annual report of receipts and expenditures with vouchers. Must attend Annual Recognition Conference each Fall semester and A.S. Budget Request Meeting.

Secretary
Records minutes at all meetings and keeps them available as a permanent record of all meetings. Shall create electronic certificates for membership and volunteers for all SDFSA-related events.

Historian
Writes narrative of activities and events; maintains scrapbook of documents and memorabilia. Coordinates activities with campus newspaper. Publicizes all activities, on- and off-campus.

Fundraising Officer
Solicits donations from businesses and organizes 3 activities per semester to earn money for class needs.

Editor
Responsible for the editing and publishing of the organization's biannual newsletter.

Chief Communications Officer
Responsible for communicating events, opportunities, and legislation to members through email and at meetings.

Web Admin
Keeps the organization's web site, Facebook and Twitter accounts current.

ALL OFFICERS MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL SDFSA MEETINGS AND EVENTS.
