Nathan Durdella
Nathan R. Durdella is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at California State University, Northridge. He previously served as project manager, grant research at Santa Monica College and as the director of the research and planning at Cerritos College. Durdella’s research focuses on college student outcomes, developmental education, and participatory evaluation. Durdella completed his doctoral training at the University of California Los Angeles, where his dissertation examined the effectiveness of responsive evaluation in community college instructional support programs. Durdella currently has work in press or published in the Journal of Applied Research in the Community College and the Community College Journal of Research and Practice. He also currently serves as a member of the editorial advisory board for the Community College Review. Durdella co-founded and currently serves as Executive Director of the Veterans Higher Education Resource Center, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation whose mission is to support veterans in college and to develop research and data on veterans in higher education.
