Commencement 2009
The Michael D. Eisner College of Education Commencement is scheduled for Thursday, May 21. Commencement will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Below please find information regarding commencement activities. (Map)
ROBING
Participating faculty must be robed. Platform party members may robe in the Garden Level of the Oviatt Library if not attending a hooding ceremony.
FACULTY ASSEMBLY/STUDENT ASSEMBLY
Assembly will be at 6:00 p.m. Faculty will assemble on the walkway West of Magnolia Hall. There will be two faculty lines processing into the venue. Seated on the left side of the venue (facing the stage) will be the Departments of Special Education and Deaf Studies while on the right side of the venue (facing the stage) will be the Elementary Education, Educational Psychology and Counseling, and Secondary Education. Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies will be seated in the center section.
Students will assemble at the North end of Sierra Quad. Students will assemble within departments. Deaf Studies baccalaureates will process into the venue first, followed by Master’s students.

The Dean’s Office has been receiving hooding requests. Your department secretaries will be in contact will all faculty who have been requested to hood. Map.
