THE TEACHING AND LEARNING MA OPTION PORTFOLIO:  COMPREHENSIVE EXAMINATION

ORGANIZATIONAL PIECES
  1. Title page (Portfolio Title, Your Name and Student Number, Date) and as below:

  1. Acknowledgements
  2. Table of Contents
    ~MA SLO Name and Number
    ~Name of selection for each MA Student Learning Outcome
    ~Use of 1-2 Induction Portfolio Selections
    ~Course Number/Course Title and Semester for each artifact that is selected.
     
  3. A preface/letter to reader of 1 page in length introducing yourself and what the reader will find out about you in the professional portfolio.
     
  4. The five artifact selections, each preceded by a written reflection of about two pages:  please use tabs to separate (one for each SLO) and write the full text of the SLO before the reflective statement. Each reflection should include a) description of the artifact to establish the background/context in which it was created; b) an explanation of how the artifact shows clear evidenced of achievement in the SLO (or Induction Standard), and  c) your thinking about how it is connected to the SLO (ie. "What this artifact d4emonstrates about my learning as a professional educator."  "Why I feel this shows significant learning or achievement." "How this demonstrates my core beliefs) about teaching learning and student assessment."  How this artifact has contributed to addressing the goals of my Clear Credential Individual Induction Plan.
