Text Box: · Now you can download and install the NEW 2009 Version 1.6 of the High Frequency Sight Words Test.  This update has improved graphics, tester instructions, test protocol forms, stimulus word sequences, and it allows teachers to test a series of students without having to exit and reenter the program repeatedly.    · As always, this test is NOT copyrighted and may be used and distributed freely.     · Installing the program is simple and takes only a few minutes.  It is NOT necessary of delete earlier versions.  Older versions will be replaced automatically.   Downloading and Installing:    ·  Click the green link at the left to download a file entitled “The Sight Words Test.zip” onto your desktop (if your computer asks you where to put the download, be sure to specify “desktop”).    · Click the zip file and extract the folder entitled “results” onto the desktop (if asked be sure to specify the desktop as the location to extract the file to).      · Open the “results” folder.    · Drag the “High Frequency Words Test” icon onto the desktop.    · Close the folder.    · Open “My Computer.”    · Drag the “results” folder into the c:\ drive.    You’re done.  Clicking the “High Frequency Words Test” icon on your desktop will activate the test.    To watch a short video demonstration of the above process click here or you can download the video (playable using Microsoft Media Player) by clicking on the red link at the left.  Be sure to specify downloading the zip file to your desktop.   If you have problems or suggestions, feel free to contact Reed at the email address or phone number listed under the photo to the right.
