Mission Statement
- Provide an avenue of networking and career development.
- Represent the students of the A-BSN and RN-BSN program in a collaborative relationship with the Nursing Program, Health Sciences Department, the University, professional nursing and health care organizations, and the community at large.
- Support students through the nursing program by providing mentoring.
- Promote and encourage the recruitment of new students into the CSUN BSN program.

Senior Project
- The RN-BSN student association is designed to assist CSUN nursing students throughout their career at the university. The association provides representation of the A-BSN and RN-BSN nursing student to the CSUN faculty and administration as well as to the greater CSUN student population and the community at large. The Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 association Senior Project will focus on maintaining the existing functions and responsibilities of the BSNSA as well as enhancing the association through various new programs.
Goals

- Promote awareness of the association and its functions within the nursing program as well as throughout the CSUN community
- Provide guest speakers throughout the year which foster increased awareness of career and educational opportunities available to baccalaureate prepared RN’s and ABSN
- Increase the financial stability of t
he association through fundraising efforts Develop and institute formal informational sessions for A-BSN students which aide in their transition into the profession of nursing
- Create and maintain a BSNSA Student Association website
- Organization of the Senior Class Pinning Ceremony
