Class Projects for SED 695A

Class Project #1 - Creating a Miltimedia Presentation
Working with your partner, create a PowerPoint presentation that you could use in your classroom which includes the following components: Animation sequences, integration of audio and video files, relevant pictures, quotes from sources, and a Works Cited Page.

Turn in a copy of the PowerPoint presentation, and give the presentation to one of your classes.

 

Class Project 2 - Building a Digital Archive
This is a class project, which will not only give you experience in creating a digital archive, but also will help you to experience the validity (and complications) of whole class proejcts.

 

Class Project 3 - Creating a WebQuest
Working in a group of 3-4 people, create a WebQuest that can be used within the context of a social studies class in your specialty. Your WebQuest can be created from scratch, or by using one of the templates that can be found online, but it needs to follow the basic format posted on the previous page.

Post your WebQuest on one of your WebSites, and create a link to it from each of your WebQuest web pages.

 

Project #4 - Review Games
In a small group, use PowerPoint, Flash, Director or another program to create your own review game for your classes. Post the game on your Video Games page.

 

Project #5– Creating a Database
Working in a group of 5-6 people, create a database on a topic of your choice and post a copy of it on the Database web page of your digital portfolio.
