Textbook; Mixing in Pro Tools Skill Pack by Brian Smithers

Attendance is an important part of your grade. This class follows the Music Department policy. This means, since we only meet once a week, that you can only miss one class without it affecting your grade! Two tardies equal one absents. You must sign the roll sheet to be counted as present.

Quizzes: There will be a number of quizzes during the semester. All quizzes will be from 10 to 20 questions (most being only 10). The questions will consist of multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, true/false and short answer. There will be no midterm and NO final. There are NO make-ups on quizzes. However, the lowest quiz grade will be dropped. There is no extra credit.

    Quiz grading:
E-mail: Make sure that you check (or have forwarding set up) on your CSUN e-mail account, since that is how I will be sending much of the class information to you.

Groups: Most of the hands on will be conducted in small groups (2 to 5 students) that will meet outside of class time for one hour. It is very important that you participate (i.e. show up, among other things) with your group. It is important not only for your grade, but also because your fellow group members will be depending on you too.

    Grading for class:
