Richard Nguyen is a professional Disc Jockey known as DJ Rich. He has been known as the “Mixologist” because he is a guy who mixes music and mixes drinks on special occasions. DJ Rich has been performing over five years in front of different variety of audiences in the valley of Los Angeles. It all began with his fascination of bringing people together and having a wonderful time, which was the reason why he wanted to be a Disc Jockey. He started off Dj’ing for free at local college parties and eventually became a high demand person to be playing music for people to enjoy. With all the referrals, he wanted to make it official that he will devote his time in music that most people enjoy while he can pocket his earnings at the same time. A few years have gone by and now DJ rich is the resident Disc Jockey of Cal State Northridge, and for Macy’s in Topanga mall. He has played for almost all types of Fraternities and Sororities on campus. He has also done many different types of events such as runway fashion shows, competitive tournaments, charities and etc. On some special occasions, Def Jam record pays him to DJ and promote for their label because Cal State Northridge often hires big record label artists to come and perform at the school. DJ Rich used to spin for clubs all over Los Angeles, but now he is targeting a different variety of audiences in the public eye.
