I have
discovered that there is no
feeling in the world like being out on the water. It is great sculling
(another word for rowing)
in a double shell with just another person, but it is an amazing thing
to be on the water with eight other women and feel the boat shoot
forward when the cox gives the word. I didn't row a lot in the regatta, but what little rowing I
did was lots and lots of fun. And, not to be forgotten, the Beastie is on the new page as
well.

There are different kinds of
speedskating, my favorite kind is short track. Basically the goal of
short track is "go fast, turn left, don't fall down." |
