Brian Nedwek currently serves as vice president for academic affairs at Maryville University of Saint Louis. He has held a variety of senior management positions in higher education including vice provost for undergraduate programs and academic planning at St. John’s University in New York City, dean of a liberal arts college, associate provost, and associate vice president for academic affairs. Nedwek has served as a consultant evaluator for the North Central Association and as a member of the Committee on Substantive Change for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Author or co-author of more than a dozen scholarly works on academic quality, performance indicators, and strategic planning, he conducts workshops in North America on academic planning and quality management. He consults widely, assisting four-year private and public colleges and universities, as well as specialized institutes.
Brian Nedwek is a former president of the Society for College and University Planning and was recognized for his contributions in 2002 as recipient of the Society’s Distinguished Service Award. He holds his doctorate in political science from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
