   Welcome Spring 2016 EY Leadership Seminar Students!



This E&Y Professional Leadership Seminar is for a select group of accounting and information systems students who want to:

1) learn what it means to be an Accounting/IS professional,

2) develop professional behaviors and habits,

3) understand the importance of ethical behavior,

4) learn about professional etiquette in relationships and communications,

5) polish their presentation skills,

6) develop their interviewing skills, and

7) demonstrate their leadership skills through outreach to students at our area community colleges. 


The course will earn you one unit of credit under ACCT 498A, but the sessions will be for 1 hour and 45 minutes once a week for the entire semester. A majority of the work you will need to do will happen during the seminar class time. The course is offered for credit/no-credit only, so no exams or letter grades will be given.

Computers are available for use in the College of Business' Microcomputer Lab (JH2129 / JH2125).
COBAE Computer Lab Web Site

The computer labs in the Oviatt Library and Sierra Hall are available for you to use.  These labs are open longer hours and on the weekends.  Follow this link to find the days and hours: Other Campus Computer Labs.

MSDNAA (Dreamspark) Site License Software: The following Microsoft software is available (for currently enrolled AIS students) free for download:  MS Project, MS Visio, MS Visual Studio.net, MS Windows XP, and more!

Low Cost Licensed Software at the 
Due to an agreement between Microsoft Corporation and California State University, students can now purchase Microsoft Software at a discount.  Microsoft Office is available here!  Many other software packages are also available at an educational discount price (about 50% off of regular retail).  In order to be eligible to purchase these software, students must show proof of enrollment in a degree-granting program at CSUN and a photo ID.
