Anticipated needs
Courses or Specialization
Anticipated needs are primarily in the areas of introductory philosophy, critical reasoning, formal logic, and business ethics courses. Other philosophy classes are occasionally assigned to part-time faculty.
Qualifications
Evidence indicating a potential for effective teaching in the areas of introductory philosophy, critical reasoning, formal logic, and business ethics is a primary consideration for employment. Ph.D. desirable.
Current Salary Range
Approximately $1355 per unit for a semester. The availability of funds at the time of appointment determines the effective salary.
Application Process: Applicants should forward a current C.V., a letter which designates specific courses or areas they are interested in teaching, three letters of recommendation, evidence of teaching ability, (including student evaluations and sample syllabi, if available) and, whenever possible, times available for teaching assignments.
