The Society of Physics Students wants to welcome

 

Dr. Phil Plait

 

 

Dr. Phil Plait is the well-known astronomer and author of the book Bad Astronomy:  Misconceptions and Misuses Revealed, from Astrology to the Moon Landing ‘Hoax’ and the website BadAstronomy.com. 

As announced in the flyer already posted throughout the Science buildings, Dr. Plait will be giving his talk "The Moon Hoax Hoax: Yes, We Did Land on the Moon!" this Friday March 14th at 2 PM at the Northridge Center University Student Union.  Prior to this talk SPS will be fortunate enough to be able to meet with Dr. Plait in person for an informal session at 12:30 to 1:30 PM.  Come and join us for what promises to be a most interesting session.
