Blend upwards until completely even. Step 3. Using a big powder brush, sweep a matte foundation on lightly, yet generously concentrating on your t-zone. Step 4. Use a medium size brush to apply a peach colored blush starting at the apples of the cheek and extending slightly upwards towards the cheekbones. Step 5. Use a large, flat eye shadow brush to swipe on a matte, vanilla eye shadow over the entire lid up towards the brow bone. Step 6. Using a thin eye shader brush, sweep on an iridescent, mauve eye shadow making a “v” shape in the outer corner of the eye. Step 7. Using tweezers, glue on a full set of black eyelashes. Step 8. Carefully line the upper eye lid with black liquid eyeliner and allow to dry. Step 9. Add a coat of black mascara to both upper and lower lashes. Step 10. Using light, feathery strokes, line the lips with a nude colored lip liner. Step 11. Apply a peach, nude lip color to the lips using a lip brush, blot lips using a tissue and apply a second coat. Step 12. Finally, add a cappuccino colored lip gloss to the entire lip area with an extra stroke on the middle of the lower lip to create the illusion of fullness.

My Creative Works |
Here I will give step by step instructions on how to re-create these makeup applications. |

These two pictures were taken at a wedding in 2007. I am on the left and my cousin Jessica is on the right. |

FYI: I chose to showcase my creative makeup applications because I feel that it is where my true talent lies. I think makeup and skincare can be very creative because everyone is so unique (different skin tones, textures, features) you have to find a way to highlight every person’s individuality. You can never have the exact same look on two different people. |
