About My Philosophy:

        The Untraditional Classroom

Sir Philip Sidney said the goal of poetry was To Teach and Delight*.  I feel the same about my chosen path.  If someone likes what they are learning, then they will learn something.

English, let's face it, is not everyone's passion.  Yes, we English-Heads love to go on and on about writing and literature and so on, as if we have no lives beyond it (we do, I swear!).  However, many students are here to get through it and move on.  So why not have a little fun while we're at it?

Learning Styles is important to understand and implement.  We do not all learn in the same way or at the same time.  By integrating different methods of classroom instruction, we cover all the bases and everyone gets something out of it.
