1. How did you get into what you do creatively? It seemed very natural to go into music because my parents were musicians. They had nurtured my talent from a very early age and encouraged me to explore all aspects of the creativity of music. 2. Do you think that you would be able to teach what you do? Yes I already do! 3. What inspires you? A performer’s ability to precisely affect my emotions. The impact of raw emotion can be very powerful. 4. What do you do to get into your creative zone? I can switch it on at a moment’s notice. I have to because it’s my job 5. What is your favorite accomplishment? Being able to get up each day and do what you did yesterday, as well as, if not better than the day before. 6. Do you ever create hidden meanings or messages in your work? Explain. Yes I do. For instance, in my piece H.A.N.D. (Have A Nice Day), the inspiration behind it was the opposite of the title, which is irony. Had I been straightforward, the title would have been “Piss off and Go To Hell!” 7. Do you enjoy sharing your work with others or do you prefer to go unnoticed? Why? I like sharing my because music is a communicative tool. It has to be shared and involve more than one person. Music is about human communication. 8. Do you pay attention to others’ strong reactions to your work? Does that affect what you create? I pay attention to it, but I usually ignore it. I don’t let it affect me or my work, except perhaps on a subliminal level. 9. Who you define as visionary? Composer Gustav Mahler 10. If your creative work were edible, what would it taste like?
