Professional Information

I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry from UCLA. Go Bruins!

I hold teaching credentials in both Biological Sciences and Chemistry that I obtained through California State University, Northridge.

Currently I teach Chemistry as well as AP Chemistry at Saugus High School in the Santa Clarita Valley. I am also the advisor for the Architecture and Engineering Career Pathway.

I thoroughly enjoy my job as a teacher. I used to work as a laboratory technician doing blood testing for blood bourne viruses such as HIV, hepatitis, and West Nile Virus. In my spare time I like to ride my bike, hike and watch sports especially when the UCLA Bruins are playing. I also enjoy camping and spending time with my family.

E-mail me.

I really like chemistry because I enjoy understanding the way things work at their core. I am especially interested in biochemistry because it relates to how life ultimately works. I like teaching chemistry because it can help my students see how things in the world interact with each other. I really like it when my students can begin to notice the abundance of chemistry in their everyday lives.
