Who’s that Mike guy? |

It has been said that all we are is the result of all that we have experienced. I guess then to explain who I really am I’d have to tell you everything I’ve ever said or done … and I doubt you’d care to read all that. But … I suppose I could point out some highlights for you. I am the second of four boys. Yeah yeah, I know — his poor mom. I grew up in Redding, CA — it’s right at the top of that big green patch down the middle of the state on your map. We found north by looking for Mt. Shasta, east was Mt. Lassen, and every where you needed to go could be found by taking I-5. Sports were never my thing in high school, but I was on the wrestling team and trained in martial arts. While my brothers all were in soccer and Boy Scouts, I did show pop and jazz, choir, drama, and band. I eventually rebelled and joined the wrestling team and started playing guitar. I guess it’s safe to say I had quite eclectic interests growing up. OK– enough about my past … what about now? I am currently a senior at California State University, Northridge, and am nearing the completion of my Bachelor’s in Psychology. I am living in Southern California, and though I miss home, I am slowly getting used to it. I have been in a relationship for almost three years with a beautiful young lady named Keri. I’d rather not go on … but just know that I could dote on her for longer than you’d probably care to read. Longboarding has become a hobby of mine … plus it makes me impervious to the annoying propagandists that hound you as you walk around CSUN. My idea of fun generally involves hanging on for life as I plummet recklessly down a trail on a mountain bike. I also enjoy Disc Golf … it’s a lot like golf without the silly pants and need for talent. |
