Hi Mona, Thank you for writing me. I am limited on time, so I have kept my answers short. I hope it is sufficient.
1. People regard you as a creative person. Do you agree? Please explain your answer.
Answer:I believe most people have a creative side to them. I choose to share my creativity, which leads many to perceive me as a creative person.
2. Looking at what you have created in the past, would you change anything today? Why or why not?
Answer: I don't think I would change anything I have done in the past because it has brought me to where I am in my life today. I have no regrets, so there is no reason for me to want to change the past.
3. Have you ever doubted your talent? If so, how did you work through your doubt?
Answer: I have certainly had doubts about my talents, but it never stopped me from achieving my goals. I think doubt is common feeling that comes with uncertainty, so when you create a new product, there is always some doubt in my mind.
4. Have you ever felt enlightened by an event in the past that has given you a new perspective on life? Please explain.
Answer: My parents moved to America from another country before I was born. They didn't speak English and had very little money. Through hard work and perseverance they were able to create very comfortable lives for themselves and also raise two children. When I have tough days, I think about what they must have gone through and where they ended up. It keeps my chin up and motivated.
5. If you and I were to trade places, tell me one thing about yourself that I should know.
Answer: My family and friends count on me, so don't let them down.
6. If you could choose a theme song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Answer: Waiting On The World To Change by John Mayer. The title says it all.
7. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Please explain your choice.
Answer: I would choose to live with my loved ones. Location doesn't matter, as long as I am with the people I care fore and love.
8. If your creative works had an odor, what do you think they would smell like? Why?
Answer: Car air freshener. Some of them smell good, some of them not so much. Very similar to my creative works.
9. If you could change one aspect of our society through your work, what would it be?
Answer: I would change the focus of the media from celebrities' lives to more important issues facing the world (war, hunger, illness, etc).
10. How do want people to remember you?
Answer: I want people to remember me as a person who made the world a better place. Best regards, Alan
