We played a variety of songs and handed out different supplies to each group and asked them to get creative!

This is the first song we played. We gave each person paper and markers and asked them to draw anything, (what they felt from the song).

The whole class is hard at work drawing.

Everyone hard at work.

Two girls displaying their artistic talent!

Picasso better watch out!

This is the second song we played. We gave each group pipe cleaners and asked them to work as a group to create something/anything for this song.

One group made a really cute horse with a colorful tail.

Cool horse!

One group made the olympic rings with people attached and a person with the olympic torch.

Ok, we have the Olympic rings and a person holding the torch. Very creative!

This is the third song we played. We gave each group a piece of posterboard and markers and asked them to work as a group to write their own lyrics to the song. Here's an example of what went down:

One group's lyrical interpretation of the song.

Really cool.

It's kind of hard to read, but it's lyrics!

The bubble gum poem!

This is the fourth song we played. We gave each group some playdough and clay. Here's how it went:

Everyone hard at work!

Brian approves.

One group's example.

Aww...pretty colors.

Aww...how cute

Coolio.

Combo of pipe cleaners and play dough.

Whoa...that's intense.

Great job to all the groups! Thank you for helping us with our project!!
