Some things i've made:

Tears dissolving a red heart and falling to make a smaller black heart.

This is a marker-drawing of blue tears falling on a red heart and dissolving it into a smaller, black heart.

Most of my drawings aren't as structured as this one; most are just abstract and/or shapes. i absolutely love drawing this and have doodled it on various class notes for years. i finally drew it out on a bigger piece of paper, colored it, and hung it on my apartment wall.

Black, pink, white, and grey circles overlapping each other.

This is a marker drawing of pink, black, grey, and white overlapping circles, (the pink didn't show up very well).

I like drawing things like this because I'm not very good at drawing images with depth and/or 3-D images, so this is about as "in-depth" as my drawings get.

Yellow and pink warp-hole lookin' thing. It looks like some black circles are being sucked in.

The black on here is actually done with india-ink. i really like using india-ink because it's different than the norm, and i'm all about that.

Hearts drawn with crisscross lines over the entire page. Every other section is colored blue. It gives it the look of 3-D hearts.

This one is supposed to be on its side. The shapes inside are hearts intersected with crisscrossed lines. Every other section is colored blue and in-person it actually looks a little bit 3-D. It's much easier to see when looked at correctly...so tilt your head to the right please. : )

Squiggly tessellation with teal, pink, light pink, and grey.

My 7th grade teacher taught our class about "tessellations." It's a repeating shape-pattern, and in this case it's made by cutting a squiggly shape down one side of an index card, then moving that cut piece straight across to the other side of the index card and attaching it there. When done correctly, both sides of the index card should essesntially have the same shape. This makes it so that the pattern can be connected to itself over and over.

Drawing of a cross, with nail holes, a crown of thorns, an olive branch, a dove on top, a stone on one side, and a lamb on the other side. There is a big heart in the center.

This is something i've been doodling for many years and then finally made this "final draft." The cross represents the cross that Jesus was crucified on, there's nail holes for his hands and feet, a crown of thorns, and the stone that was rolled away. At the base lays an olive branch that the dove, (sitting on top), carried. And on the side is a lamb, representing the lamb of God.

Circles of various sizes drawn with crisscross lines all over them. Every other section is colored either yellow or green.

This is a drawing of various sized circles. They are intersected by random straight lines and every other section is either green or yellow. i really like drawing these kinds of things because they aren't anything in particular, i can just do whatever comes to mind.

Another warp-hole lookin' thing. It's a bunch of flowers getting sucked in.

This was done on scratcher paper. The paper comes covered with a black layer, and then you use a special scraping device to scrape off the black. It was a little weird to get used to "drawing in reverse," but i really liked the challenge.

Paper is divided into six sections and each section is covered with crisscross lines. Every other square is themed either green ot pink, with an accent color of grey.

This one was originally made to be sideways, so imagine this rotated 90 degrees.

Two focal points with sqiggly lines coming out of each. The lines mesh into each other and in each section is grey dots. As the size between the lines increases, so does the size of the grey cirlces. The background color is purple. It looks like two warp holes.

Originally, i was trying to make some "warp-hole" lookin' things. They didn't come out as planned, but whatever.

Random boxy shapes were drawn without any curves. Every shape is either black, grey, or white. It looks jaggedy and kind of trippy.

Not sure what i was going for here either; i just let the pencil lead the way.

Circles drawn with a compass. The circles start on the corners of the paper as semi-circles and increase in size until they collide and overlap with each other in the middle. Every other section is colored either teal or lavender.

This one is almost too structured for my taste, but i had fun trying to work the compass making it!

The paper was divided into a slanted half, and each half was then sectioned off with overlapping crisscross lines. Every other section is colored either orange or black.

As one of my first drawings, i think it came out alright. To me, it kind of looks like shattered glass.

This one is a reverse of the one above.

This one was done on scratcher paper, so it was drawn in reverse.

A small hexagon started this drawing and then increased outwardly in size. Random lines were drawn crisscrossed through the growing hexagon and every other section was colored either blue or orange.

Supposedly, this was going to be a funky rose...i don't know...maybe it's there.

Squares of various sizes were drawn, then crisscrossed lines were drawn over them. Every other section was colored either pink or blue.

i really don't like this one; it's too simple. Blah.

The paper was divided into a slanted half. Swiggly shapes and circles were drawn in each section. Every other section was colored either brown or pink.

Of all the drawings on this page, this was my first one. It ranks in as one of my favorites.

One large circle was drawn, then crisscrossed lines were drawn over it. Every other section was colored either yellow or pink.

Each time i look at this one, i just keep thinking of more that could be added to it. Grr...

A focal point was drawn at the middle edge of one side of the paper. From that point, jagged lines were drawn outward so it looks like everything is fading into the focal point. In between each squiggly line is colored either black or red. On the red sections there are black circles of various sizes, and on the black sections are black circles of various sizes.

This one is supposed to be on its side, so that the "focal point" is at the bottom. So, please tilt your head to the left. : ) It's one of my top favorites. The dark colors and separation of the sections, simple as it is, i really like it.

Red, blue, and teal squiggly shapes are drawn in a "camouflage" design.

This is supposed to be a twist on the regular "camouflage" pattern. i'm not sure how i feel about it.

Red hearts of various sizes all connected with a black, loopy "thread" cutting through all of them.

This one is completely upside down and i don't know how to put it the right way. Sorry! (i won't ask you to stand on your head or turn your computer screen upside down...but you're welcome to do that if you want!)

When it's facing the right way, it looks kind of cool with the black smudges around each heart.

This is a drawing of two swans that come together with their arched necks to make a heart.

Yep, this one is facing the wrong way too. Sorry!

This is yet one more thing that i've been doodling for years and finally made a "final draft." Honestly, i much prefer the doodles on my class papers than this one.

There are three focal points drawn on one side of the paper with straight lines "flaring" out from them. The lines all overlap to create different sized diamonds. Every diamond is either turquoise or pink.

When i started this one, i had no idea how the outcome would look. It's alright.

* i really like drawing random shapes and using markers as the color source. i never got into crayons, and even less with colored pencils.

Anyway, hope you got an idea of my thought processes.

Thanks for looking.
