My research is about computer addiction because I was concerned with certain behavior that my husband use to display when he is at home. He used to be very close to us but since we got the computer, he had a drastic change. He even failed one of his classes the last semester because he spent too much time playing games in the Internet.

She talks about her experience as Founder and Coordinator of Computer Addiction Services and a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty. She is also member of the Cognitive Therapy Program and she has her own clinic for private services. She has studied recreational drug use and thinks that inappropriate computer use is similar. She states that our society is becoming more and more computer dependent in our society and she describes the Psychological and Physical symptoms of those individuals who are addicted.

The Computer Addiction Service at McLean Hospital make evaluations to identify the problems. They give a list of the major syptoms that someone with computer addiction can experiment. Once they have identified the problem the hospital offer services and treatment for the addicted personas as well as for those affected by their behavior. This is a large page reviewed in March 25, 2001.

The clinic offer personal therapy at Netaddiction,com's Virtual Clinic. They explain the five specific types of Internet addiction. The web also show statistics of groups of people who are Internet addict. They give a list of the warning signs of the persons who could be Internet addict. They offer very useful information and services and they updated. Reviwed on April 16, 2001.

He also explains the warning signs by using explicit examples. The warning signs and symptoms he gives are similar to the ones on the other sites I read. It doesn't say when was posted or when was reviewed but it was informative.
