Creativity is the unique expression of each individual. Laura Leon

Creativity is self-expression through art, sports, clothing, etc. Tiffany Hughes

Creativity is uniqueness. It is art. It is a way to express anything and make it last. Maria Chan Jimenez

This is our creativity altar. We have things that we value most to be creative. These include a keyboard, drum sticks, masks, jewelry, arts and crafts, a candle, a CD cover, and a few others.
For Our project #2 we decided to use the creativity rule: " Creativity has NO RULES.....". The myth of the genius explains that there are certain characteristics that all geniuses and creative people fall under but in reality creativity has no rules or boundaries. We all have our unique ways of expressing creativity.

This is an altar we created for our first project. In this altar you will find all the things that we as a group thought were creative. As you can see, we have different music instruments, a colorful mask that tiffany created when she was young, a flower made from a water bottle by Maria, and a nicho created by Laura honoring her grandparents.
Project #2: Consisted of three games

The first objective: Got Brains was a trivia game that tested our classmate's creative ways of determining answers to challenging questions. We challenged them with questions on science, geography, trivia, and English.

The second Objective: Do You Dare?  Each participant had to use their sense of touch and smell  to figure out different ingredients/objects  that we brought to class. These included dried shrimp, smashed banana, peeled grapes, sliced tomato, cinnamon, rosemary, ketchup, and garlic.....good times : )

The Last objective was: Oh No They Didn't In this game, a representative of each group had to scramble for items of clothing set on a table. After they fought for their favorite items, they were instructed to switch what they had picked with another group....they didn't see that one coming!....hehe. The objective of the game was to have each group come up with the most outrageous and creative outfit.

The purpose of these three games was to stimulate their minds creatively and the ultimate creative group won a basket of goodies.

The creation of these three exciting games was to prove that there is no one category of people that are creative....anyone can be creative at any given time in any given situation.....our classmates are living proof that creativity is universal!
