Todays violent society is dominated by the media.
One of the more influential arms of the media is film. Films can be mindless
fun and they can also be works of art. Their influence is extremely vast.
They reflect, and in some cases, can perpetuate the attitudes of a generation.
One of the more popular motifs in movies today is graphic violence. But
how responsible are films for society's violent nature. And if film is so
popular, and violence is such a common theme, what are the effects on the
movies number one consumers--teenagers? This experiment tries to find out
how much a teenager's violent nature is attributed to films and how much
is attributed to other factors.
