Educational Philosophy

My educational philosophy revolves around the inspiration of students learning in my class, as a means to personal development in daily experiences. I believe true learning goes beyond the classroom experience. It is with this reason, I have taken the responsibility to not only teach the conventions of another language, but also teach about new cultures and communities.  With this new experience the students will be exposed to new beliefs, new customs, new religions, and a variety of components that make each individual a unique person.  Understanding all of these components leads to one of the most important principles in my life:  Respect.  Students do not have to love other peoples' differences, but they do have to respect them.  Respect is only gained when there is a true understanding of all the differences within each person.  Through the learning and understanding of a new language, I hope for each one of my students to feel motivated to exploring new paths in life.
